I moved to San Francisco in 2010 to take a new job, but my love affair with the city started long before the job offer finally arrived. When I was five, I remember begging my parents to move to San Francisco – crying, and throwing tantrums while my bewildered parents were left to wonder why.  This continued off and on throughout my childhood as year after year I endured the harsh mid-western winters. The moment I arrived in San Francisco, I knew what all of the tantrums were about. After eight months in re-location housing, my husband and I bought a Spanish Mediterranean home circa 1927 and we are lovingly restoring it to its full glory.  You will see photo’s posted about the City from my entire family and some may have initials after them: those would be posts from my own personal jewels of San Francisco – my two beautiful daughters. This blog is a way to share the unique and exquisite beauty of San Francisco with my family, friends, and the unfortunate souls who have yet to experience the splendor of San Francisco!
